Dieppe is the largest Acadian city in New Brunswick. It is located on the Petitcodiac River in Southeastern of New Brunswick.  It is home to over 17,000 people, in an area of 60 km2 ,and it’s population is 80% francophone and 20% Anglophone.

Dieppe is part of the Greater Moncton Area, which also includes the city of Moncton, and Riverview. Although once a bedroom community, Dieppe is now the fastest growing city in New Brunswick in. Many large and small companies now operate from the Dieppe industrial park. Notables include Armour Transport, J.D. Irving, and Master Packaging, and Dieppe is also developing their own downtown core.

Originally known as Leger Corner, Dieppe received its present name upon incorporation in 1946 in honor of the Canadian soldiers killed in the 1942 raid on Dieppe, France.

In 2003, Dieppe was officially upgraded from a town form of government to that of a city.

Located in Dieppe is the "Champlain Place", the largest mall in the province (also the largest single-story mall in the North America); Crystal Palace amusement park; and Greater Moncton International Airport, busiest in the province.

How to get to Dieppe, New Brunswick

Whether it be from Ontario, Quebec, New England or elsewhere, getting to Dieppe via the Trans-Canada Highway is easy.

To get to Dieppe’s Champlain Place, the largest shopping mall in Atlantic Canada, simply follow these directions:

Route 2, Exit 467A, then Route 15 west, exit 10, left onto Paul Street, then right at the traffic lights.

If you would rather not drive to Dieppe, take advantage of the city’s international airport, known as the MONCTON Airport (YQM).

You can also take the train from Montreal to Moncton, Dieppe’s neighbouring city (the Moncton train station is located approximately four kilometers from Dieppe city limits). A Moncton-Montreal train service is available daily.

ATTRACTIONS LOCATED CLOSE TO THE TOURNAMENT

There are 2 mayor attractions in the city of Dieppe, which are very close to the tournament's location (About 5 minutes drive). Those atraccions are the "Cristal Palace Amusement Park" an entertainment place a the "Champlain Place", the largest shopping centre in the Maritimes, which is located besides the "Cristal Palace Amusement Park".
