The Memorial Kaikan (is a room which exhibits
many of Sosai Oyama's personal belongings, like his Doji, books, pictures,...,
and also you can watch many of the Kyokushin videos available today) is run by
Sosai Oyama's daughter Mrs. Kuristina Oyama and his husband Mr. Yoshikazu Susuki.
Also, Mr. Yoshikazu Susuki, is in charge of the Kyokushin classes in Honbu.
Thank you to this wonderful idea of keeping the Honbu open to anyone and any
group or Kyokushin faction, many people will have the opportunity to visit the
building which contain to much history about our style and, also people will
have the change to practice if they wish in the same dojo where thousand of
greatest Kyokushin practitioner were teach by Sosai Oyama himself. It is the
only Kyokushin Honbu that I know were everyone is welcome to visit or train.

Honbu, is
quite flexible with visitors, so if you are expected to be in Ikebukuro
(Tokyo-Japan), you can call then and they can open honcho for those with
prior reservation. You should call them in advance and arrange the time
