Thursday, November 27th

Arrival at Narita Airport :
There are approximately three hours to the Isesaki City and the Airport. At the Airport it will be a reserved bus that will depart from Narita Airport at Noon and in the Evening to take Fighters, Officials and Supporters to Isesaki City. The IKO will pay the bus expenses to the fighters and officials, from the airport to the Hotel when you arrive, and also from the hotel to the airport when you leave). Supporters may use the same bus but they will have to book and pay in advance.
In order to take advantage of the Bus transportation you must arrive to the Narita airport on Thursday, November 27, 2008. See below for a more details on the bus's schedule.
Cost and payment details:

	Pick up buses from/to Narita: 3,000 Yen (usually 5,000Yen).
	Spectator tickets: 2,000 Yen per day.
	Party fee: 3,000 Yen (usually 6,500Yen).

Tournament and Sayonara Party:
The party is free to fighters, and Branch Chiefs, Representatives, Referee and Judge, however supporters will need to book and pay to attend the party prior to their arrival in Japan.

IKO International Meeting (9 to 12 a.m.)
International Training Seminar (3 to 5 p.m.): The International Training Seminar is open to all Kyokushin members and is free, however supporters who wish to attend the seminar will need to book prior to arrival in Japan.

Others depart by Bus (bus back to Narita Airport)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

・All Referees and judges must wear and supply a white bow tie and provide their own whistle.
・Only referees and judges who are accredited with an International certificate as a referee or judges may officiate in a match.
・ As per previous memo and minutes, application to Honbu for an International Referee and Judges Accreditation and certificate must be accompanied by the appropriate fee and two (2) passport size photographs.
・All Referees and Judges must make application to officiate at the tournament prior to arrival in Japan and such application must be accompanied by a copy of their International Referee or Judges certificate.
・All Referees, judges, officials, Branch Chiefs and Representatives must wear an official jacket and shirt with patch (jacket, shirt and patch are leaved to each country).
・All fighters who have a Shodan or above must attach a copy of their certificate to their tournament application and wear an official IKO black belt.
・Fighters of male; Groin guards compulsory.
・Fighters of female; Only the soft type of breast protectors are allowed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR TRANSPORTATION :

RESERVED BUSES

We’ll arrange pick up buses from Narita Airport to hotel in Isesaki , on Nov.27 3times a day ,(Depart 13:00 , 16:00 . 21:00) and from Isesaki to Narita Airport on Dec.2. But in case of missing the pick up buses , please make use of public buses or trains.

People should meet at Airport to get transfer to ISESAKI. The meeting place will be at:
JTB desk (Japan Travel Bureau), Located on the 1st Floor on Terminal No.1

No.3: Departure 21:00 /Arrival 00:30

Note:

Participants who will arrive in Japan before or after November 27, 2008:
Delivery of vouchers and collection of registration fee will be conducted at the JTB Desk of each hotel.
(Please obtain necessary Japanese yen cash at the Airport upon arrival. Payment by credit card is not accepted.)
Bus schedule between each hotel and event venues will be provided by JTB upon your arrival.

	All of five hotels mentioned above can be provided at the same rate although you cannot specify a hotel. But you can specify room type and bed type, such as Western-style and Japanese-style room.
	The room type is basically a twin room, but there are some single room/Japanese room types as well. We will try to fulfill your request but we can not guarantee.
	Hotel bookings will be finalized after your application. This is because it is necessary to organize hotel bookings in relation to the bus capacity and schedule. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
	Isesaki City is located within the 100km radius of Tokyo and has a population of 130,000. It is a town surrounded by an abundance of green and water , and in the background of Mt. Akagi, one of the most beautiful and prominent mountains of the Kanto Plain. The town used to be famous for Isesaki Meisen (Isesaki silk material). In the modern age, the city is nurturing citizenship through sports and respect for human rights.
