QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT FOR THE SYDNEY 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES - POREC, CROATIA

The qualification tournament for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in Porec, Croatia was held on July 08-11, 1999,  in the Intersports Center it attracted 233 athletes from 73 countries competing.

The top four winners of each weight qualify for Sydney and will receive certificates from the WTF. Those in fifth and sixth positions who do not qualify will also receive certificates. Their national federations will be on standby if any of the qualifying nations withdraw.

QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT FOR THE SYDNEY 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES - ASIAN REGIONAL:
MANILA, PHILIPPINES

The qualification tournament for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in Manila, Philippines was held on September 25-26, 1999,  in the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. The athletes from the Philippines as usual demonstrated his high level of Taekwondo which was a surprise for many people who were not familiar with the high level of Taekwondo developed in Philippines, because of this the Philippines Team were the only one who qualify all their Athletes in the four weight divisions for the Olympic Games..

The top two winners of each weight qualify for Sydney and will receive certificates from the WTF.

The qualification tournament for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in Miami, USA,  was held on October 1-2, 1999,  in Florida. It was a big disappointment for the Canadian team, Dominique Bosshart, from Winnipeg, was the only one who qualify for the Olympic Games. this great Athlete demonstrated her high level of Taekwondo who allow her to add one more Gold Medal to her successful  trajectory in Taekwondo Competition. It was a good performance by the Cuba, and the USA teams who qualify all their Athletes in the four weight divisions for the Olympic Games..

The top two winners of each weight qualify for Sydney and will receive certificates from the WTF.
