|
Just a few months ago opened his door the "Transcona Premier
Taekwondo" a new school of Taekwondo located in Transcona.
It a a Branch of the Premier Taekwondo Organization who already
have many others branches around the city as also outside of Winnipeg.
The Community of Transcona, Elmwood, East and North Kildonan will benefits with
this new school as they will have more choices available to them to enroll their children
to learn this wonderful Martial Arts style of Taekwondo.
The Transcona Premier branch was established in October
2004 by
Master R. Reis. Classes are instructed by Master Reis and assisted by
Mrs.
R. Reis. Taekwondo classes are designed for people of all ages and abilities
both males and females. The classes promote:
Self Esteem
Discipline
Confidence
Good Manners
Fitness for a Healthy Life
Respect for Self and Others
The children’s class (ages 6 to 12) is not only fun, but
exciting to watch as they learn and grow in this sport. Although Taekwondo is
considered an Olympic sport we also teach the Traditional Art of Taekwondo which
incorporates discipline and respect. Taekwondo trains the body and the mind. The
objective is to foster growth in both areas in order to become a more mature
human being.
